السلام عليكم و رحمة الله تعالى و بركاته
أود أن أفتح باب النقاش للتداول و التفاكر في إمتحان وزارة الصحة العُمانية .... حيث خضت التجربة في شهر أكتوبر السابق و الحمد لله توفقت سأعود إليكم بالتفاصيل عما قريب و لكن حتى ذلك الحين دعوني أعطيكم نبذة عن الإمتحان:

إمتحان وزارة الصحة بسلطنة عمان مخصص لجميع الفئات الأطباء من ممارس عام و نواب و أخصائيين
يتكون الإمتحان من ورقة تحريري و مقابلة لمن ينجح في التحريري سأحاول أن أجمع أكبر عدد ممكن من الإمتحانات السابقة و سأبدأ بإمتحاني الذي توفقت فيه بحمد الله

attached is a collection of GP exams which I found it shared among the Sudanese doctors in Sultanate of Oman
For the GPs , the paper exam is composed of:
1. 10 MCQs in Medicine.
2. 10 MCQs in Surgery.
3. 10 MCQs in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
4. 10 Single best answers in Paediatrics.
5. 10 MCQs in therapeutics.

can any one please give information about oman exam for paediatrics registrar, i think iam going to sit for that exam soon

سلام عليكم كل الشباب .. يا ريت يا دكتور توضح لينا متطلبات الدخول للامتحان يعني مثلاً سنين الخبرة التي تقف اما الكثير مننا

the Omani misitry of health divided the doctors in the service jobs into ; Consultants , junior consultants & Medical officers
the job "Registrar" or "resident is a training job which is not available for the foreigners in Oman.
regarding your question Obai , the medical officers can sit for any speciality & please notice GP is a separate speciality , so there are MO ( GP ) , MO ( Obs & Gynae) , MO ( Ortho ) , MO ( Paed) ..........
so if you mean the MO ( Paed ) exam , it consists of 10 SBAs (single best answers) & 5 short assays. unfortunately I dont have any previous MO ( Paed ) Exam , but for sure if I Find any previous papaers I will upload it here.

hi dr kmssa ... we really appreciate the useful info u submit before ... i really have question need clear answer could u help me plz ... my inquire is about that if i had part one mrcp then i come to oman and register for their medical council successfully , after that i work as medical officer in medical department could it count to be as rotation for royal collage like if i have recommendation letter from the MOH of oman that i have been working as MO in medical department for 4 year could it be count as rotation for the royal collage or not please inform me if u can ...secondly could i set for the medicine part one of oman Bord or its limited for omany personal ?!? thanks in advance ...

Royal College of Physicians and its membership (MRCP) does not require any rotation!, unlike MRCS (Surgery). in MRCP examine, pass, you are a member, congratulations

thanx alot kmssa, for your reply, it helps me, iam still waiting for omani reply, i applied 2 month ago, & i think i will sit for MO pedia exam, if they gave me response, so how do u think it takes usually for them to respond back for applications ? 2nd if u got any previous exams for MOpedia please help me with them

now there is no jobs avalaible GP or resident in oman they said to me contact us after 6 months>>>>>

actually , there is no available posts for male GPs now, they prefer female GPs , but for the other specialities the situation is changing from time to time .

انا اعمل في سلطنه عمان قبل فتره بسيطه ولكن لﻻسف حدث لي ما اريد ان احزر منه كل القادمين الجدد وهو عدم التورط في القطاع الخاص في عمان
هنالك العديد من المساؤي ﻻ مجال لزكرها ولكن اياكم والخاص وعليكم بالحكومي فقط ..
